Luthiers
A family of outstanding violin makers. The name of Franciszek Marduła is known among luthiers and violinists throughout the Word. He has built around 650 instruments, and more than 300 bows. He was a founder member of the Zakopane-based "Sokół". He actively practised sport in his youth. His son –Dr. Stanisław Marduła- i salso a luthier, and a teacher at the A Kenar Artistic School in Zakopane, as is his wife Alicja.
